Alex Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 For me, COVID both instigated a lot more time spent on airplane models and caused me to discover podcasts. I have really enjoyed Mike Duncan’s History of Rome and Revolutions. Lately I have been enjoying the Napoleonic Quarterly by Alex Stevenson. What podcasts do you all like?
Dandiego Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 What's a podcast?? Troy Molitor, europapete, chrish and 1 other 2 2
europapete Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 Not podcasts, although I do kinda/sorta know what they are, but no idea how to access them. My usual choice is Netflix or Amazon prime. For music, the usual record collection.
chrish Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 Dead silence in my hobby room….or I can’t hear the other voices in my head thierry laurent, Troy Molitor, D Bellis and 7 others 3 7
Stokey Pete Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 I usually put my favourite movies on the tablet. Music distracts me, but silence does too, so I use it as background noise. Troy Molitor, Jeff T and D Bellis 3

MikeMaben Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Old movies on the TV in another room with the volume low enough so I can't hear what they're saying. Easy Listening music or anything without a drum beat. (Can't have my toe tapping). Hardcore 1
Paul in Napier Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 (edited) Something I know very well, otherwise too distracting. Yes......the 'big' ones (Close to the Edge, Topographic, Relayer etc) Also obsessed with Hookworms (Microshift) and Stephan Bodzin at the moment........ Edited June 26, 2021 by Paul in Napier Alex 1
MikeC Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Classic FM on the radio, but occasionally CDs for specific purposes. Wagner for German aircraft, or something gentle like Thomas Tallis for rigging.

GusM Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Generally blues or classic rock when building but it's punk, hardcore or thrash metal when painting. Got to be loud enough to hear over the compressor and extractor! Daniel Leduc, Alex and Troy Molitor 3
dmthamade Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 Most always movies, on TV or BluRay. SciFi or adventure. Don
Ben Brown Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 I usually listen to WDARE, the streaming version of WLIR, or some kind of punk/alternative music from my collection. Since sportscar racing has made a huge comeback, I've also been streaming a lot of races from IMSA, Europe, and Australia. Today will be the IMSA race from Watkins Glen. Ben D.B. Andrus 1
