As far as i can see, i buy kits from Airfix, Tamiya Trumpeter , Revell, all seem fairly evenly priced i dont think theres anything i buy kit wise that comes from the states, so for us in the uk, nothing will change, from a cost point of view however if the likes of hk, trumpeter etc dont have access to a US market, it might change their subject choice or reduce it… so bad for everyone. interestingly last week, my son who runs a consol/video games shop (in north west uk) told me he had had loads of calls from USA from people asking if they can order the new nintendo from him as a private sale…. Not sure if it will make a difference on arrival in the states, he also said that he and many of his customers who had the already dificult to get hold of Switch 2 on pre order for june 5th were being offered stupid amounts of money from Usa friends in order to secure one

No idea where you are getting your figures from but no kit runs are anywhere in the region of the numbers you quote particularly in the larger scales, they tend to run max 2000 also, dont for 1 minute think that all the serious modellers are members and chat here, far from it, sites like this are the minority in terms of numbers of modellers, i specialize in designing kits and have done a number and never put,one on here, partly cos i dont have too and partly cos i dont want too and am not a “joiner’ tge border 1/35 spit is simply a rehash of the trumpy/generic chinese 1/32/1/24 one with parts the same but reduced in size, it wasa poor choice of kit as it was the same as the one everyone has but in a smaller scale… it offered nothing new other than less for your money casual modellers think nothing of paying 100 plus, our local toymaster has a number of kits around that price they sell well enough to the tourists as nothing is cheap these days

Quility looks good tho, the shiny sprues under harsh light made it look way worse than it is and it looks good in other pics, quality imho is ok,.. price is anyones guess but their kate is nice and has the same quilting
-
Assuming the painted one above is the border kit under a coat of paint, i think it looks pretty good, i was initially put off by the early pics but looks better under paint those that complain on here make up the TINIEST FRACTION of sales for a kit like this from a company like this,, border couldnt give a toss … it will make no difference to their sales at all

Would 100 bid plus buyers premium, 22.5%, not make 122, then plus vat, 20% make 150 ?adding post means many are already over the usual high price..
-
I will and have,,,, bloody awful company
-
Dont waste your money, a home 3d 8k resin printer and a little cad knowledge will easily end up with a comparable product im in uk and certainly will put it up on one of the various sale sites here, not ebay, their fees to high , i just dont understand peoples urge for such an overpriced( due to being poor) kit…….. i have made better at home and was super disapointed by one from a ‘pro ‘company
-
You all want to pay hundreds, 2 years in advance, for products that are decreasing in quality, you go for it ….
-
Cant agree am afraid, 3 d printing of the quality and type they use is not really sutable for a commercial kit like this, there are some nice fine parts, But there are a lot of very thin parts that will require more work than they will be able to structurally stand (engine parts, are too thin and too layer lined, ) HPH does just fine with this type of fine casting , , the biggest issue is the poor crowdfund style business model means all the kits are sold months before anything is made public, so poor quality doesnt mean anything , and these things just end up unbuilt in stashes so that those that do want to build are stuck with poor product, while 95% of those who buy them never get round to having to work with the parts

Got hold of one of these today…… well dissapointed, no wonder there are no/t many builds on interweb, quility seems to have dropped precipitously from the Viggen, only the wings are cast resin, the rest is 3d printed, at a quality i can at least equal on my machine at home…….. wont be bothering with future releases

Nothing to do with it, its military so will be a service enquiry in the uk
