I thought the Revell He-111 was well regarded? I've not built it myself, but a look in the box was pretty impressive.

Chris.

It is. Just try to get one (especially the H4/H6 kit) for a price that doesn't resemble a small countries GDP figure is a major task though.

There's a brand-new LSP release scheduled for early next year, and possibly one at the end of this year. But that's all I know (no clue on subject matter).

thanks Kev, at least there is hope for new release :)

no matter what it is, it will be great

They did announce an SM.79 a while back, and even had a few pics of the initial kit shaping, but again no news for a while now. Having said that, they are now just releasing the 1/48 Dornier Do X that they announced a few years back.

That's HpH, rather than HK Models.

I could see them doing a B26. Done to the B 25 standard, might be a good seller.

Neil once told me that he'd investigated the idea, and ruled it out. So unless he's changed his mind, it's not likely.

"he'd investigated the idea, and ruled it out."

I will never understand a kit manufacturer's mind, I'm afraid. B-26 in 1/32 would be one of my first choices to invest money if I were a manufacturer.

Then maybe it is a good thing that I am not, meaning that I do not have the right nose for investment :)

I, too, do not understand the thinking on the B-26 Marauder. I'd love one - several actually! We have the 17, 24 and 25 in 1/32, where's the 26?

By the same token, why has it taken so long for a Val and Kate to show up, considering how many 109's, 190's and P-51's we've had over the years?

Sorry guys, I've done the 109's, 190's and 51's. There's a ton of those kits out there. I'd like to round out the collection with a good 26 - and even a 29. :)

That's the difference between an emotional and a business approach. Large scale will only sell if a clever and expensive marketing approach is invested first to generate a new demand. Think Wingnuts. Everyone cannot do that.

Over the past year I've changed from "why don't they release this or that in 1/32 scale" or "I'm desperate for someone to release" something off my wish list. LAst year I pulled a spreadsheet together with all of the kits in my stash and all if the kits that I want but don't own (can't afford really or they'd be in my stash). All 1/32 aircraft. My conclusion - the total aircraft in my stash added to the even bigger list of kits I want but haven't bought yet is, in all likeliness, more than I can build in the years I have left !

Anyway, I'm joining in, I love a list ! They need to release the best looking aircraft ever built - Spey engined Phantoms - especially EDSG over white - pure porn ! :D
