  1. What a great project ! I like how it looks already
  2. All I'm gonna say is... I'm so jealous !! Fantastic job
  3. Burnt metal looks great and no less real than the original, great job !!
  4. That is soooo coooool and beautiful !!
  5. I didn't expect that! I have the previous releases but these look enticingly beautiful, I may still buy depending on the price.
  6. With all my respect to the efforts of people creating this kit and regardless of how much I'd love to build a new-tool Phantom... given the €340 preorder price tag for a plastic kit I'm afraid I'll take the blue pill.
  7. I love this! This is such a neglected kit for so long!!
  8. I need this on my shelf but price is the main issue here which unfortunately seems unpromising for my budget ceiling for a kit. Still I'd be eager to push the limits, I hope the IVP version and recce pod is an option.
  9. Ok, got it. Now I'll buy another two
  10. Show off?? Last thing I need or would intend. No. €400 is not big money to show off, considering you can not even buy a 1/32 Lancaster or HpH kit nowadays with that. I'm just fine tuning my annual hobby budget and cutting off some other items to be able to buy two boxes of this kit. You can do that too, if you want.
  11. Quite reasonable pricing here I think I'll buy two.
  12. The fuselage looks awesome and I'm looking forward to placing my order. But no, there are layers and they are visible. Just zoom in and you'll see. The printers today print way much better than what they could achieve a couple of years ago but there will always be layer lines as long as the production technique involves layers. Double the resolution and cut the layer thickness in half if you want, but layers will be there... especially if you are printing a complex shape with variable geometry and topography. One spot will look perfect, but another with different surface curvature will still display the layer lines. That is the nature of the thing. Rememember the geography class where landscapes and heights were illustrated with topographic layers? Wherever the section areas of two layers are not identical there is always a step between the two. A cylinder would make a good example. All sections, i.e layers, are identical and there would be no step as the object rises during printing. But if you are simply printing an egg or a sphere, there will be areas with perfect transitions but still some layers will be visible, mostly around the polar zones. The good thing is, printer companies are getting better at dealing with that and the visible layered areas will be even more restricted in another of couple of years. Nevertheless this is not my complaint at all. After all many of these lines can be removed with wet sanding with a fine sandpaper. It is an extra I really have no problem taking. These companies are giving us models in scales the big fish do not bother to produce, so they have my personal support which a few print lines cannot break. Wonderful job Lukgraph! Keep bringing us great kits!!
  13. Museums generally can make mistakes choosing wrong colors when restoring their displays and that can be totally misleading for us who model these planes. Color reference in the instructions about the landing gear interiors is correct, they are really white and Jetmads is right with that.
  14. Amazing, what can be done with that stuff nowadays! Interesting project to follow!
