Let me correct you Quang: my Fouga is not limited to 250 copies, not at all...

I need to sell 2000-3000 kits to get break even... that means I need to sell that many kits to see the invested money back before I make any profit on the whole project...

And it's 'thanks' to AMK and Kinetic that I released the Fouga in 1/32, as it was originally planned to be 1/48...

The Fouga kit is also the 'Magnum opus' of Philippe Goulard, the designer of all the 500 parts who designed many high quality kits for Heller, then Airfix, and until his retirement for Revell (and DACO 🙂 ). So you may congratulate him too...

Hi Danny

Great to see the kit being released well done, many of us know the hard work and toil you put into this happening. Could you give us an indication of when more kits will become available and how and when we may be able to order them.

cheers Alistair

Hi,

Received my kit today ....(white box release) and while all the parts and instructions look great ....... there were no decals or marking instructions included.

Anyone know if those are being shipped separately or maybe it's an "oops" that they were not in the box ??

Nice choice of subject! That first pic is of my squadron, VMFA(AW)-332 “Moonlighters”. I was the Ordnance Officer when we were in Al Asad for our 2005/6 OIF deployment. The loadout you mentioned was one of our SCLs (Standard Combat Load), sans the AIM-120s. One of our other SCLs replaced the dual GBU-12s with a GBU-38, and each section typically had one of each loadout. If the weather was not conducive to a laser-guided weapon engagement, then they could defer to the GPS option (this was before dual-mode LGBs). Our planes weathered pretty heavily, as any fluid leaks (oil, hyd fluid, grease, et al) would quickly become magnets for dust and grime. Looking forward to this one!

From the Daco website:

"The decal sheet will cover detailed markings for four Belgian Fougas (period 1960-'65, 1965-'80, 1980-'96 and MT05 Red Devils), one French and one German Fouga."

(decal sheet still needs to be printed so it will be send afterwards)

Some people ask me how to order the second batch of the Fouga: on the Fouga page of my website www.dacoproducts.com you can pre-register yourself for the second production run...

It is not yet known when these will be available, I want to have the decals printed by then so it's certainly not for the first two-three months, but if you register yourself then I will contact you when they are on their way to Belgium...

Thank you for the reply Danny, appreciated, all the best, I am sure we will all try and help you move a few more kits.

I wanted to ask you about when I can expect my kit to be shipped?

I did write you on Sunday, but received no response.

Thank you.

I think Danny is putting all his time and efforts into getting the kits in the post, I received an email informing me my order was posted on Monday from Germany, and it was delivered this morning, sadly I haven't had time to look beyond the instructions, hopefully more tomorrow, patience is the key.

Hi,

I have received this great kit and I'd like to know why there's no seat harness, I know these are no ejection seats but wasn't the harness installed all of the time?

Many thanks.

best regards,

Dennis

Mine arrived today.  It looks great!  Can’t wait for Isradecal to release IAF decals.

BTW, will the kit decal sheet include decals for the instruments?  TIA.

Dave,

Did you ever get any email or other notice the package had shipped?

Thanks!

My kit arrived yesterday - first impressions are extremely favourable.

A labour of love - and boy does it show.

One canopy has made a bid for freedom thanks to the care taken by the postal services - but can't wait to see the decal options.

Well done Danny and team!!
