As nice as the kit looks, I've got too many kits as is so I'll only get one if someone produces decals for a few African versions (mainly Algeria and Katanga). You know how it goes...when the decals will be available, the kit won't be anymore...and you'll end up paying more in the end... MB CRAZY IVAN5 1

quang Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 I found something unusual: All the sprues -excepted three- are of the exact same size and interlocked via a peg-in-hole system. I’ve never seen anything like that on another kit. Have you? Kagemusha, TankBuster, geedubelyer and 2 others 4 1

So this was surely in a 1/35 afv/vehicle box. quang 1
quang Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 In any case, it’s a smart move because it prevents the parts from rattling and it takes less room in the box. Even the clear sprues are done this way. scvrobeson, Kagemusha and CRAZY IVAN5 3
Mark_C Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 What are all you lucky recipients going to do about seat harnesses?

I'm very much acquainted with Daco products as I used their/his up grade sets on my Hasegawa -104s [very very nice!]. Though I'm not a huge huge Fouga fan, though they are very cool, and I'd love to get one of these. Unfortunately I'll probably won't be getting one as by the time I get the funds together they'll in all likely hood be long sold out [figures] Ah well that's life. By the looks of the sprues ,if it goes together half as good as it looks yous guys that have them are gonna have fun.
orion2 Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 ** speculation mode ON ** And who knows...given the ties between Danny and Revell, the German firm could be interested in purchasing a good part of the kits. I could see an 1/32 Magister in German/Austrian/Finnish markings in one of those awful flimsy Revell boxes... ** speculation mode OFF ** CRAZY IVAN5, iaf-man and Tony T 3

If Daco sold a third run via a license to Revell I'd pick up one or two. Really want three — Diables Rouges/De Rode Duivels, a Tiger Meet scheme plus a Patrouille de France — but realistically I'll build and finish just one of those three delightful options, once I buy one from Danny's second batch. ** CAUTION: wishlist mode ON ** I just hope ICM and Revell actually get more into 1960s+ jet trainers. We so need a Gnat, Talon and Blunty and, also WW2 fighter-sized, Draken, Gina, Fresco and Fishbed fighters. ** SAFE: wishlist mode OFF** Tony CRAZY IVAN5 1

Fanes Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 Before this thread inevitably turns into another wishlist: My Fouga Magister kit arrived today, after getting a shipping notification from Danny just yesterday evening. You can imagine my big smile, when the mail man had a white box with a Daco sticker on it 😁 geedubelyer, quang and Kagemusha 2 1

I'm on the other side of the pond, and as mine is being shipped from the Netherlands to get tracking, suspect it is a few weeks away. It looks like an amazing kit.
