Well not wanting to commit or make promises but it is nudging along believe it or not. See the other thread on VAPOUR WARE projects, so I am taking it very steady on announcements until I know that I have everything all in hand and can give a projected release date. The good news is that my CAD skills have and are improving and with that this and future kits will be better than originally planned. Sorry I am not making a huge commitment statement, but it is a project that I have personally wanted for many years.

So we can expect to see it finished by tomorrow then Dennis 😂

Well I and others like me do not even know where this will all go. Already took a huge hit to customers in Europe, when Brexit first came into place, steadied a little now, but still lost many sales I believe. But what can we do, other than carry on, but not being funny if I loose out with sales to the U.S. it will have a severe impact on my little business. Just have to wait and see if it hits small parcels sent direct on mail order or not. Would be glad to hear either way from customers in the U.S. when they get my orders or from others in the U.K.

Unfortunately not. I have not moved the project forward, not to say I do not want to do it, I just got side tracked with other projects. I would rather not make promises any more, as then I just let everyone down. Sorry for no positive answer at this time.

Hi Guys, sorry for the delayed reply, obviously this canopy set is still in fair demand, I have what I need I just need to make time to do the work. I shall see if I can get this into the program so then I will be able to supply the new canopy set. I have given up making promises as to time scales but let me see what I can do.

Unfortunately not yet Rob

Looked up one of the posts on Facebook, they mention they are aiming for a price of around £85.00, which is more than acceptable to me, we shall have to wait and see, one of my favourite aircraft so will probably need more than one.

Thank you for the kind words, sorry for the minor damage, hope you can resolve it and get it sorted, if not do let me know.

Wow Ruben that was a super fast delivery, thanks for the compliments

Hey Kevin, how about combining the two threads, it would make sense to do so. Just my thoughts

Matt did you get a price, seems strange you need to message via Facebook to get a price, just make it public then it is done.

All orders placed so far should start mailing out this coming week as promised.

Lukgraph announced PZL I-22 Iryda & TS-11 Iskra in 2025

Good news and I am excited and interested in seeing these developing in the coming months. -
I do cast for a few guys BUT I do not chase the work as it takes away from my own products, and secondly it is very costly so many guys run for the hills when I quote😂

Well here are the clear canopies for all three scales Matt, you asked, I just wanted to wait till i could show before I answered, clear cast resin. Progress is on track for kits to start rolling out the door in the next week or two.

I have looked about the various posts on this kit but not found any indication of price, anyone know?
-
Thank you Matt, well I am trying to be competitive and to keep products with an affordable range where possible. Also try and introduce modellers into trying a 3D printed model with what I think and believe is an easy build and will not break the bank for giving it a go, and hopefully does not become relegated to the shelf of doom.

Thank you Reuben, appreciate it.

Hi Steve I think it is great that you have come along to explain a little more. As I said I think the concept does have some advantages and many guys will be happy to purchase files that have a good starting point for a model that they want. I just wanted to draw to their attention that there is or will be quite a lot of work involved from their side. It is good to hear that you will assist in markings in one format of another, but once again the guys will need access to a printer / mask cutter for these as well, once again many will have or have a friend but others do not. I do disagree with you on printing clear parts, well especially for the average guy or modeller. It will not be a secret that I am a producer and I have had experience with casting clear canopies for almost 20 years. When I started on the 3d game I was and still hopeful that I could print clear canopies. Well yes you can, but the printed canopy will always have print lines on it and be very frosted. Yes I have seen guys polish these out and create amazing canopies however this is no mean task and it is almost impossible to achieve on small canopies or turrets etc where you cannot get fingers in to polish. Believe me I know from years of trying to do just that to make a master clear/ smooth enough to then make a silicone mould and cast in clear resin. The other alternative of then vac-forming canopies, once again there are guys that do it and do a far better job than I have ever managed to achieve, but you need the equipment and also not every shape and style of canopy is easy to form. For best and ultimate fit the vacform master needs to be smaller than the part required as most will form over the master, much easier, but the best vacform are done by using female moulds which are a lot more work and tricky to make. I certainly wish you and your partners well and so much is advancing at such a fast rate more will become more possible in the coming years. Great concept that I am sure will find a place in the market place. Even more so for some of the figures and even some of the more simple landscapes, buildings, vehicles etc. Ali

It will be modelers choice the colour (color) as it would have been very likely more like a painted highly filled and polished airframe silver, BUT shades of natural metal will look superb. However we have an alternative to be revealed that could have been a likely option as well, see that tomorrow hopefully.

Could not agree with you more Thierry. It was not the only time that indecision and politics dragged down the aircraft industry within the U.K. On both the commercial and military side great opportunities were missed. Oh well at least we can dream of what could have been.
