  1. Here is one I found, Guy: It's apparently a Mk. 2, but it should still give you some ideas.
  2. Yes, they're good. I've dealt with them for decades, and never had an issue.
  3. (Kicks sadly at the thread, trying to will it back to life)
  4. I get this mental picture of the Eindekker disintegrating around the bangseat when it's activated. Like something out of a Roadrunner cartoon.
  5. With my luck, my spirit will be attached to an original issue Trumpeter Wildcat.
  6. . . . and JoAnn just filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy . . .
  7. Strange how people who would rather not deal with print lines become "a lobby" or "whiners" or "critics." How about you just accept that not everyone is willing to deal with them and leave it at that? I don't see anyone going after the fans of Jetmads kits . . .
  8. I'll cheer you on, from the sidelines. I have enough trouble with NMF, before adding in the devil's dingleberries that are 3-D print-lines.
  9. I have every confidence in Kevin's abilities to put in a new engine, cowl, skis . . .
  10. I think the issue of note here is that what you consider constructive criticism someone like Peter Jackson may consider an unwarranted attack on his character, business practices, etc., and may not only move against you personally, but also the site hosting your comments. It may sound silly, but I have personal experience with this. Many years ago, the Guardian newspaper had a member of its "Guardian Talk" forums who, for whatever reason, just wasn't getting along with others. He wasn't famous, he wasn't a big deal, but he wound up being roundly disliked by some people on the various sub-forums. At least one person decided to imply this person was engaged in predatory practices against children. The Guardian did nothing about these comments, and eventually this person sued the Guardian site. And won. One result was the immediate closure of all the forums. I do not know if money also changed hands, but I do know that when the Guardian reestablished forums much later on, they were and continue to be very closely moderated.
  11. I think that would call for mod action. You may have strong feelings about the issue, and you may be correct, but nothing has been established conclusively about employees and so on. Until that happens, then I would say these comments are an attack on his character and motives, not a statement of fact, and the site would be wise to expunge the comments.
  12. Kevin, It really needs to be Finnish. On skis. Then it will be worthy of you: (Please?)
  13. What a lovely little thing that Pellet is.
  14. Hm. I could be wrong on this, but I think the only F-84Fs to carry nuclear bombs would have been the bare metal ones, and if so, that doesn't seem to work well with models having lots and lots of 3-D layer lines.
  15. I'd look at that lovely new canopy, then at where it's supposed to go, and I'd just . . . freeze. I wouldn't even know how to begin fairing the canopy rear into the deck behind it. I expect Tom will make it look easy. : )
  16. Indeed. A Thunderstreak, particularly one capable of carrying a nuclear weapon, would be most welcome.
  17. I believe their F-86F is actually the -40 version, so unsuitable for the Korean War. But I could well be wrong.
  18. Ray, Here's a site that might be useful, though you may need to activate your Bulgarian-to-English translator (I sure did). https://airgroup2000.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=224364 There are some detail shots that show two different shades of green. And this will take you right down the rabbit hole, after luring you in with the promise that AKAN made or was going to make the right shade of green paint: https://massimotessitori.altervista.org/sovietwarplanes/board/index.php?action=printpage;topic=1490.0
  19. This guy, maybe? 1/32 J-29 Exhaust I bought his intake from him. I don't know if he will also have the earlier exhaust, or if the Fly kit even needs it.
  20. Just shoving something else in, Kent, might be useful: https://spazstix.com/products/szx10000-ultimate-mirror-chrome The video reviewing it seems to show impressive results, and it's apparently more robust than Alclad . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lm9fqk2CfzY
  21. I recall a modeler (sadly died some years ago) who used SNJ aluminum powder rubbed with a rag over glossy black enamel paint. The effect was incredible. He did warn that you had to be careful as to when to rub in the powder; the closer to dry the black undercoat, the more mirror-like the finish, but if you waited too long the finish was too fragile to take any handling. This is discussed here: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/79375-using-snj-powder-to-create-a-nmf-finish/ Another search led me here: https://www.c1-models.com/c1-metalizer/ This might work as a substitute for SNJ, which may be hard to find; it appears to use the same method as SNJ. HTH
  22. I'm really looking forward to this. I bought the "B" version when it came out, and an intake correction from eBay, but I've yet to see anyone document a build.
  23. I look forward to this, too. Will you be using their corrected nose gear?
  24. They could do a MiG-15 and/or MiG-17. There is not a single good -17 available on the market, and the -15 is (a) resin, (b) expensive, and (c) apparently not built much, considering how few HpH kits I've ever seen completed.
