What does the conversion comprise William?
Between Mk I and Mk II, the Mk II introduced a Merlin XII engine, which had a Coffman starter, this needed a small teardrop shaped bulge behind the spinner. The Mk II used the blunt spinner Rotol propeller as well. the cockpit was upgraded and will be the most work. you would have to look at photos of both Mk I and II cockpits to see the diff. Kotare did capture the correct shape of the blunt spinner included in the MkI kit.
Not a huge undertaking.

Just seems to be a trend, hate to be left out, will be doing a simple quick conversion on this,

Haven't built a 48th bird in about 20 years, just wanted an Expeditor and I know I'll never see one in my scale so took
this down from the shelf that had been sitting for the last 3 years and dove in, reworked the whole thing to get it where
We are. hope you like it.
Bill.

Yes, many times. Builds that go bad, if i don't return to them in a short time(varies) they get binned. Clutter as a rule disturbs me, so i keep to a bare minimum if at all.
Don
That's very much like me, hate clutter, Have a twin engine kit that has been pulled down from the shelf so many times and recently close to the trash can,
But I am determined to finish it even if it looks like crapolla in the end, that's not to say some havent hit the garbage, they have.

Might, perhaps, possible, I dunno?

Fixed it for you. But your point about the Hellcat is spot on. Honestly, if I could only pick one subject that would be done to today's current standards, it would be the F6F-5. It's that significant of an aircraft (numbers produced and it's exploits) and current options are that lacking.
Aside from that, (and not intending to take this thread into yet another wish list direction), an F-86 done to their standards would be amazing.
Hard YES!

Quite close to my feelings on the subject.
I build both 1:32 AND 1:24 so I can't complain about doing multiple scales!
My feelings on the 1/35 issue as well, I simply won't live long enough to "get at it" all.
But damn! it does whet the appetite.

Ok but isn’t that why they are doing 1/35 because there are more sales in it for them ( as mentioned in Asia?)
Well if that's the case they must have done the marketing research and determined a more asian modelers market is the direction to proceed and not a global approach.
I wish them well, besides, many of us 32nd moderlers won't be all that concerned seeing what is coming in 32nd. But I will still pick one up because my curiosity in how much new detail and posibly new molding might be interesting to look at first hand. but yes, we'll wait for the sprues to decide.

A concern, where can one purchase 1/35 scale aircraft decals? I just don't see them. Yes I can make them myself but it's a hassle.

I agree 100%!, The only real concern is the decals, the instructions I can work around [not the greatest]. I've only dry fitted the big pieces and looks cool to me.

Well I have to be honest, the 111 looks spectacular, really, and I am probably going to buy one, there I've said
it out loud. but I still think had they done it in 32nd scale they would have increased sales many times over.

OK I'll play, how about a decent F-86 SABRE? With a correctly shaped canopy, nose, wings, cockpit, etc.
Is it too much to ask for? Hell, I'd even take several 1/35th offerings.

The 1st Cdn Div has its roots in 1914 when Canada went to war for the first time as a nation. Canada became a nation and took its rightful place on the world stage with the efforts of soldiers who won the day on Vimy Ridge and during the last 100 days of First World War.
The 1st Cdn Div was established three more times after the First World War: during the Second World War, once following the Korean War in 1954, and again near the end of the Cold War, in Kingston, Ontario in November 1989.
The Red Patch
The red patch has long been a badge of honour for all members of the Canadian military. The "old red patch", was worn for the first time during the Somme.
This tradition carried on throughout the intervening years and during the Second World War, the 1st Cdn Div earned more accolades from allies and enemy alike as the Germans nicknamed the Canadians of the 1st Cdn Div "the little red devils" attesting to its determination and skill during the Italian campaign. The distinctive red square shoulder patch of the 1st Cdn Div, which has been worn by its members since the organization's inception, will continue to be used as a symbol of recognition today. 1st Canadian Division was just recently re-activated. So this is a tribute build.
There are a couple of items wrong on this profile, the spinner is blunt with Rotol blades, the fuselage band and spinner were painted Sky Blue. with under wings and fuselage in sky. the codes were in a darker shade of grey than depicted.
