Glad to hear it, Bob! Shame about the fall- how's the sidewalk doing? Okay I hope!

Film scores- John Williams, Elmer Bernstein and so forth. I don't go for anything talky while I'm concentrating on models or art, except for well-narrated audio books.

WOW! Did you use a spray gun?

Wow, that's the way to do it!

Glad you're okay, Chuck! Bummer about the trip, but at least you're still retired. The bay looks great, and I've found that a toothpick can be a great paint applicator to tiny details and things in tight spaces, but I'm willing to bet you already know that.

I completely agree with everything mentioned above. A David Union D400 sander however, with multiple tips applicators with various courses of #240, #400 and #600 adhesive backed sanding pads make the job a whole lot easier.
Kindest regards,
Troy
Can confirm!

Speedball calligraphy pen nibs are great for laying down masking fluid, and perhaps pinpoint application of chipping fluid (I haven't tried that yet). https://www.johnnealbooks.com/product/speedball-c-calligraphy-nibs

Welcome back, Chuck! Glad tp hear the home renno is all done- I feel your pain! I've got a stalled project in my studio/shop- getting the glass doors to my four display cabinets. You have the doors exactly as I've envisioned them. The Glass shop we've worked with before really dropped the ball -for months- finally admitting that they didn't usually do that/didn't want to do it. That's island life, I guess. I want similar lighting, but with a solid strip to shield the eyes from the LED strips. I also want a white panel at the rear, which was unavailable from the cabinet shop. If it's not too pricey I'd like to get locks for the doors to satisfy my paranoia.

For the oil can I suggest buy Windsor and Newton Sansodor - it's odourless white spirit .
If you are making your own oil washes by thinning down the paint, a bit of W&N Liquin , which makes the wash a lot smoother .
I second the Liquin Original. Note how a bit breaks up the clumps of pigment, resulting a smooth, buttery wash.

All-
@Eli Raphael and I are pleased to tease the next release from Zotz Decals, a sheet that we’ve been really excited to put together for some time. This sheet, which will be released in 1/32 and 1/48, will cover the aircraft from Pacific Theater Ace Gerald R. “Jerry” Johnson, featuring his P-39D, P-38F, P-38H, two different P-47D’s, P-40N, and three different P-38L’s. In all, you’ll be able to depict 10 different aircraft using the sheet, covering the combat career of 22-kill ace Gerald R. Johnson from Adak, Alaska in 1942 through the end of the war. Never before have Gerald Johnson’s aircraft been depicted in kit or decal form, so it’s our pleasure to bring these to you! With help from several experts in the field, we feel we’re delivering an accurate, well-researched sheet that will be warmly welcomed by the model building community. A special shout out to Nathan Howland at HowdiColour Image Recovery and Colour for his collaboration on this sheet, as seen below.
More to come as the decals and profiles are completed and we move closer to the release!

I suggest Mr Color Replenishing Agent. https://www.air-craft.net/acatalog/Mr-Color-Replenishing-Agent-250ml-T-115.html I've restored almost dried bottles of Mr Surfacer with this magical juice.
