CATCplSlade
I'll be more inclined to believe it once I see plastic and not CAD or box art. Trumpeter still owes me a Devastator. Guest Maxim
I think they'll be here sooner than you think. Two months max. We waited forever for the A-6 so you never know with the Devastator but I think it's a lost cause now unfortunately.

ssculptor
I was reading some of the comments on Facebook. There are some twits who are complaining that Trumpeter is bringing out such a large model when they themselves want a better version in 1/48 scale. There are a number of turds who want to be the little Hitler who decrees what is to be made. Tis indeed a funny world. I have to stop wasting my time reading Facebook. "Keep on trucking." (quote R. Dave Roof
That's why I never read Facebook, Twitter for that matter any social media.......... Ummmm, this very forum is social media.......just sayin' Regarding the B-24's......it was several weeks from the announcement of the 1/18th Harrier to its release. I believe these will be out within the next few months. Trumpeter may still "owe" a couple of kits, but this isn't Trumpeter. jgrease, TimHepplestone, Iain and 5 others 7

Trumpyboss box art means business. These are on their way. As for the Devastator, there never was any proper art and according to Hannants it was announced on 10th May 2004! https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/TU02226 Having it in the 2018-19 catalogue as "new" must be an all-time record. Not sure about the F-100F but it's comparable. I'm not a fan of combat box art (especially the Z-M penchant for flaming violence) but these ones are especially well done. Thanks for posting here. A 1/32 Lib is something of a niche item, while a new tool 1/48 B-24 would be the proverbial "license to print money." jgrease, David66 and Youngtiger1

I wonder if these are the same twits who were over on HS and all but ordering the U.S. Navy to recover the Devastators from the Lexington. This announcement on the B-24 has made my decade so far. This is by far my favorite 4 engine WW2 heavy. Edited March 10, 2018 by Clunkmeister
chrish
Well, I will be in line for at least one (or two).... they may only go into the stash with Boeing's 32nd G (2 of them) and E/F but once I retire... look out! If I'm still alive. A Lancaster will need room in that stash too I guess.
