Alburymodeler
Hmmm. Comments with no or very little supporting evidence. Whinging about 'problems' that seem to be wished for when they are just artifacts of the image projection. Not my thing responses. Sigh. Plus ça change...... one of the reasons the kit is so late though is because of much constructive criticism of the original images, and HK's commendable decision to work on issues to get it correct. Correctly shaped nacelles and spinners are far more important to me than having a toilet in the back of the fuselage..
wunwinglow
I think there might be an issue with X. Here is a photo showing the kit/CAD, and here is a photo showing the real thing. I think this area isn't quite correct. What do you all think? = Useful Bleagh, that's wrong. = Irritatingly useless. Cees Broere
Neil is aware of the nacelles. Just wait until there is some plastic to fondle and discuss. It was nice to meet him last saturday at Telfort and talk Lancs. Cheers Cees David66, LSP_Kevin, Phartycr0c and 3 others

Bill Cross
This is not my cup of tea, but it could be a fun build if I can resist the temptation to add all the AM **** and just build the GD thang OOB and enjoy it for what it is, and not what it might be. Couldn't do that with the B-17, though the jury is still out on that. David66
wunwinglow
Bill, AM is a serious affliction, highly contagious, and we are all chronically infected in this place.... Uncarina, Rick Griewski and David66
Tony T
Looking fwds very much to seeing the beastie but, apart from the prospect of a Lancastrian***, I want an OOB experience with paddle blades and flaps. Tony ***the fate of Lancastrian Star Dust is still currently available on BBC i-player as part of the lively Dr Alice Roberts' selection from the Horizon archives - in fact, lots of cerebral chewing gum in her selection. Menelaos
no way it's going to be a masterpiece in the modelling world....BUT who can pay so much money for this? Not many Why don't producing also a version without the whole details inside the fuselage for less money?
Gerhard
With the current exchange rate, I will never be able to afford this, no matter how much I want it. Menelaos and Rick Griewski
Cees Broere
The various CAD drawings I have seen had either needle and paddle bladed props. The prototype certainly had the paddle blades. You can also see both styles of the early and later pitot tubes. Don't know about the flaps. Do not be surprised if uncle Eduard has some nice tricks op his sleeve. Let's all be excited. Lancman
Hi Cees, I hope they have moulded or resin flaps as I used the Eduard ones on my Tamiya kit and boy are they a pain . Graham mozart
Cees Broere
In 1/32 they are bigger so should be lesser a pain. Cees MikeMaben
Tony C
I'm in and am planning a whole Squadrons' worth! Have told SWTSSBO and the kids, that they have to leave, so that I have room for them all but so far, only the kids have complied!
