Wow... WNW gone....

Back from the muscle car commercial break.  I am not a fan so I was off doing something else.

The first WNW kit I will build is the one I have two of.  I thinks it is the Eindecker III. The others will be harder to crack now that WNW is absent  but.... I will not sell the stash so I should just pick one I really like with easier rigging. LOL.  The Fokker DVII comes to mind.

Let's just close it, then and if there are other WNW developments another thread can begin.

Ah, but you see a WNW thread that goes drifting off in other directions is not exactly, shall we say,  unwelcome for the mods. They have their reasons why they don't want endless WNW speculation, but equally they don't want to lock every WNW thread as soon as it pops up lest it be viewed by some members as heavy-handed moderation. Closing or re-naming this thread is only going to encourage a new WNW thread to appear, so a little thread drift occuring does no harm...no criticism of the mods here (and I'm not suggesting it's some sort of official policy), but whether it's muscle cars or your tipple of choice, there does seem to be a pattern to WNW threads goin' a'driftin.

So let's do the mods a favour and enjoy the odd bit of thread drift. If you're keen on discussing what's happening with WNW I can highly recommend the forums at http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com or http://forum.largescalemodeller.com, or the Wingnut Wings Fans group on Facebook.

It is a nice theory, although if I'm completely honest, it was simply thread drift on my part because I like cars.

For us there really is no intentional drifting here, & for me personally it could have happened in any thread.

The lack of knowledge on our parts as modelers re: WnW is evident in all these threads really, it's just one speculative thread after another.

I want to know what's really up with Sir Peter and crew as much as anyone, but all the threads about what's going on with them pretty much end up the same way, not due to any of our interventions, but due to the fact that no one actually knows anything.

So how about this weather we're having? :)

Great day to wash a Pontiac Firebird.  Have I showed you a picture of it?  Got it from my grandad

Think Peter Jackson might revive WNW as a modeller of vintage auto mobiles.  Does Ronny Bar do car profiles?

I made out in the back of a 1975 Firebird one time.  Chris Tice.  My first love.  It was her brother’s car :)

Please allow me to summarise the WNW threads: "those who know don't speak and those who speak don't know". All discussions about WNW drift away because it is hard to stay focused when reading the same BS over and over again.

It was thread drift for sure but it's not really something to be grumpy about.

It will steer back but there really isn't much to steer back too.  As for locking,  that won't happen unless it really goes sideways into breaking forum rules.

Drift... steer... lock...  sideways -

I just can't help it:

A million monkeys at a million keyboards: sooner or later you get the truth or a Shakespeare sonnet — the trouble is finding it.

There's also the theory of extraction, aka putting a wrench on wing's nuts till we get a squeal.
