ericg
Moving on with some more work. I am pushing this one to completion now and am in the final stages of getting it done. This picture of Ron inspired me to try and copy the writing on his helmet. I used a Copic Multiner to draw the name and the checkers. Took me many goes to get right and I hope that I have done it justice. I have painted and weathered the MK-82 High drag bomb, and used some thin copper wire painted silver for the fuse wire. The masking removed from the canopy and windshield. Nice and clean underneath for a change. I started weathering the model, using oils and a silver prismacolour pencil Starting to come together very nicely. I have a bit of work to do yet on the load out, but getting very close. Biggles87
You’re weathering is absolutely ‘ in scale ‘ I wish I could do that rather than my usual result of either too little or too much. John
