    Well done Kev! I built the Rev P51 Desert Rat scheme and completely shied away from the checkered nose decals after putting them on and finding they weren't going to fit. Should really look into being able to make masks! Cheers Bevan

    Nice work John! I'll be interested in how the chipping goes. Are the mister colour range lacquer like AK? I found lacquer to be a bit "brittle" and came off in flakes rather than water soluble acrylics like Tamiya almost washing off if that makes sense! Cheers Bevan

    Great detail on the EE tail wheel assembly but got to wonder how strong it actually is.... good tip on thinning the opening. Cheers Bevan

    I just re read your post Kev, after I rub the decal I apply another gloss coat and without rubbing it apply the flat coat directly over it. Or keep repeating the first step until the edge has disappeared. I agree that something more sturdy needs to be employed. Cheers Bevan

    Kev, try applying another coat of gloss clear to seal the decal. Then flat coat I think you'll have less dramas but then again decals have a mind of their own! Cheers Bevan

    I used oven cleaner on a 109 k4 that had eaglecals decals on it. The most stubborn areas were where the main markings were, it basically wouldn't remove them...... in the bin she went! Cheers Bevan

    Probably a reaction with the fresh paint edge and a little heavy handed. The fresh solvent will lift it. Hth cheers Bevan
