Biggest quantity of one particular kit in the stash?

Recommended Posts

Some Spitfires, several marks and duplicates; some Me 109s, several marks and duplicates; a few DH 2s, 9s, 82s, 88s, 89s & 98s . . . erm, a few each of Camels, Triplanes & Snipes; a few each of Fokker D1s & DVIIs; a clutch of Albatros, various marks and duplicates; two Ju 87s, different marks; a flight of F4Us - that sort of thing - all 1/32.

None listed exceed 3 of the same kit except Matchbox/Revell DH 82a Tiger Moths (4) of which three are intended for conversion, Your Honour.

Well I suck....my highest duplicate count is 3 F-18s in the stash (legacy) but eight built.

2 spitfires (5 built)

2 f-4u corsairs

lost count of how many 109's I've built (it would be in the tens) but have all been donated away.

the rest are one each

Not guilty m'lord. Well  perhaps a little bit:

2x Tamiya P-51s

2x Revell Hunters.

But also a Revell P-51D, does that count as three Ponies?

The problem with posting in a hurry: how could I of all people forget my Spitfires :doh:?

Perhaps because they're down to a mere three:

1x Revell Mk IX

2x Kotare (one of each release).

Are we venturing into other scales with this? As I do also have 2 x HKM 1/48 B-17s and 2x new-tool Airfix Buccaneers (1 started) in that scale too.

And it's just occurred to me that I forgot about them because they're below all the other aircraft :D (If you're a Bucc afficionado, you'll understand.)

I must be a big Revell fan

10 Hawker Hunters (+ 2 on the shelf of doom)

8 Piper Pa-18 Super Cubs

5 BAe Hawks

4 Ju88s (2 A-1 and 2 A-4)

I love those super cub models…if you like float planes they will fill the need!

I’ve built 2 of them and enjoyed the hell out of them!

And here I thought I had a problem, reading this thread makes me feel I don't have much to worry about.

Just bought a Fine IJA truck.

2 1/24 Airfixes, one a Spit mark 5 and the other the 109 e.

1 1/24 Trumpeter Zero,

1 1/32 Trumpeter Dauntless and Wildcat.

1 1/32 HK B17.

And the current build, a 1/32 Hasagawa Hien, the IJA truck's mate.

Now if I add those I salivate over, wellll. Like to get a 1/24 something as a contrast (meaning from the opposite side) to the Zero, one for the B17 and since both of the Airfixes are BOB, or France, a Stuka? Maybe I do have a problem.

3x Trumpeter P-38s: one in progress as an L-5, one in progress as an H model, and one unstarted.

Now that's dedication to a very difficult cause.  :D

I don't really have any duplicates.  I tend not to build multiple copies of the same kit.  Interesting to see how others see things here.

I’ve got 16 B-17s at the most recent count - 3x 1/32, 6x 1/48 and  7x 1/72. I have a few Spitfires and Mustangs in both 1/24 and 1/32, 2x 1/32 Phantoms and 3x 1/32 EE Lightnings, too. No other multiples as far as I can remember.

Holy moly! 16 B-17s! 3 in 1/32! Where do you put them all when they are finished!?

Kind regards,

Paul
