Out2gtcha
Got a call from my older brother today. He used to build aircraft and car models, but lately in the last few years discovered his eyesight and interest have both declined for modeling. He's been into 1/10th scale R/C rock crawlers for the last few years,so he's come to the conclusion he not going to be building models anymore and will be sticking to R/C rock crawlers since his eyesight does not let him complete models up to the standards he was used to. That all being said he has a pretty substantial stash of car, truck and aircraft models. He knows I only build aircraft and only 1/32nd so he said he had some 32nd scale models set aside for me that I could have. I assumed it was probably going to be a bunch of of junk. I was a bit taken aback when he gave me these 10 kits........ The first 3 kits are not terrible at all, but are the oldest in the group. I opened the F3F-3, it even had the Lonestar resin cockpit and long wing correction in it. Rick Griewski
I love the expression of the cat next to the F3F-3 kit. It looks to me it's about serious new ownership of this box and its contents (to chew on and toss about of course). Nice gifts you got. Every stash needs many many yellow wing bi-planes. Nicholas R Larson
Trying to figure out a way to photograph it but I got in a Trumpeter 1/200 Bismarck. mark31, LSP_K2, Rick Griewski and 1 other
dutik
The Flogger has landed! Got a parcel from Ukrposhta. Wrapped in an envelope and some cardbord I found this: Inside just a fistful of parts wrapped in bubble foil: But after careful unwrapping of the large parts I found a plethora of small parts stuffed inside the bow and fuselage cavity. Well protected for shipping and handling. Nothing was broken: There is also a CD with instruction and walkaround photos of the real thing in the box and a vac canopy. If you don't know how large Trumpeters Mig-23 is: This bird is 50 cm long, without pitots and rudder. Very nice! :yahoo: Regards - dutik Daniel460, scvrobeson, Lothar and 3 others
LSP_K2
OK, my latest 3 editions to arrive from Albatros are here; both volumes on the Pfalz D.IIIA at war, as well as the Nieuport 24/27 at War. I'm a happy guy. Out2gtcha and Gazzas

Gerhard
Trying to figure out a way to photograph it but I got in a Trumpeter 1/200 Bismarck. You dont say? That will take YEARS to build, but I have to do at least one ship in large scale. Jeff
BloorwestSiR
Something on the smaller side at 1/144 scale: Needed two of them to get enough Tie Fighters to go with my X-wing. Next up is a V-8 Interceptor. No, not that one. The first one. Finally something 1/32 related. Hopefully they'll work for my WNW Camel. Cajun Two One
I would love to get one of those yellow Interceptors myself. I believe there is a full scale one in the Chicago area. Cheers, Itch Out2gtcha and BloorwestSiR
