MikeMaben
Haven't been here since Monday last week. So what's your excuse fool ?? Well, I fell and fractured one left rib and my right thumb (fractured not broken). Don't wanna whine but I hope none of you have to spend any time in an emergency waiting 'lobby' (they called it). It's like a nightmare form hell . Anyway , glad to be back , won't be much on the thunderbolt project but I'll do the best I can. Dpgsbody55
Well, I'm glad about that - the not being dead bit. Hope you get well soon, Mike. Falls as we get older become a concern. We don't "bounce" like we once did. I can relate to the emergency waiting room thing. Been in twice and both times kept me waiting for three to four hours when I complained of (1) chest and shoulder pains and (2) had a letter from my doctor advising admission to hospital for suspected liver failure. Heart was OK, but I did actually have liver and renal failure. Major fail . Cheers, Michael Edited January 23 by Dpgsbody55 MikeMaben
fastterry
I can sympathise Mike as I have spent too many hours in the ED waiting area over the last ten years, with the flotsam and jetsam. It pays to have blood coming out of somewhere to speed things up. TRF LSP_K2, Furie and MikeMaben 1
LSP_K2
Actually, I've been rather fortunate inasmuch as I seldom have needed emergency care, and when I did, admission to see a doctor was pretty quick. MikeMaben
Out2gtcha
So sorry to hear that Mike, that sounds horrible. My father had kidney stones and I waited in an ER waiting room with him for 45 min before even being seen. IIRC he said it was the worst pain he'd ever felt. Here's hoping you have a successful and full recovery. MikeMaben
quang
Glad to know you made it Mike. Rest assured, I’m not the one who’d say ‘break a leg’. MikeMaben

Stefano
Wish you a full and prompt recovery Mike! ED waiting lobbies are not the merriest spots to be in, but in the end you got out of it: you got treated and hopefully all will be OK after a while. Wish u well! Furie
Get well soon Mike, and in future try to remember that you're not Bruce Willis (well, the Bruce of long ago...) and that movie stunts aren't for you anymore! MikeMaben
mozart
I wondered where you were Mike…..you were missed! Delighted to see you back in action, kind of, and get fully fit quickly. MikeMaben and Christa 1
dennismcc
Nasty stuff Mike, I have spent my time in A&E and it's not much of a rewarding experience. Get well soon. Cheers Dennis MikeMaben
