1/32 Fw 190 D-9 from Hobby 2000 (Hasegawa rebox) - released

I have a sneaking suspicion (read: hope) that Hobby 2000 repops several of the 1/32 Hasegawa kits, most notably their P-40 series.

Now here's an FW that I can get into, especially the late version, something about that tail. I might have to get 2 of these! The only way I've been able to get Hobby 2000 stuff is through Ebay, and at that things can get sketchy.

Jadar Hobby (Poland) carries a nice line of 1/32 Hobby 2000, although they don't have the Dora yet. Shipping is reasonable until you get into the bigger kits.

They are 100% legit

Anyone have an idea what the price will be for these? The Hasegawa/Revell ones rarely come up on evilbay and command a decent price when they do

Any of the Hobby 2000 kits at Hannants have been cheaper then retail here in Canada, especially the Revell and Dragon kits.

The Revell re-pop of the D-9, has both tails.

Yup, because the original Hasegawa D-9 Late kit had both tails.

Revell rebox indeed had both tails and both canopies, though, and that's also the case with the Hobby 2000 rebox.

The Hasegawa D-9 kits are on eBay. I just got one recently for inter $40.00 including shipping. Right now there are lots of D-9’s on eBay.

Hmmm....Maybe I had the Revell boxing...Odd, Revell doesn't usually change things!

The question was whether Hasegawa included both tails so you could do either version.

I hope you're right too, given the lack of any new P-40 other than the GWH effort.  I have a P-40B, E and M, so I'm hoping that H2K will do a re-pop of the P-40N in particular.

 

We won't talk about the Trumpeter offerings...
