Cees Broere
Here's mine. The Revell Beau is a great canvas, although it can use some more aftermarket sets. Bill_S, BradG, R Palimaka and 6 others

Bill_S
And so it begins. I used cockpit bulkhead from the kit; I opened it up quite a bit. There's a rather large diameter heating duct that runs through there. The fuselage is taped in place, white glue on the bulkhead to set it in the proper spot... Next up is a bunch of horizontal stringers... Edited April 17, 2018 by Bill_S BradG, Sparzanza, Cees Broere and 4 others
Daniel460
Great scratch building Bill. These old kits sure teach you to improvise, they can be a pain but are fun to build. Dan Bill_S and Derek B

Bill_S
The stringers looked a bit sparse; I added more. Next up: the dreaded cockpit. The kit cockpit tub - notice the 2-D detail on the side consoles. Revell provides decals to go over these. I'll use the side consoles, building them up a bit. With the wing openings filled, the tub is too wide... Some careful measurement and cutting, and we have this: The console itself slopes downward toward the front; I still need to figure the angle. It should be a good modelling weekend! Edited April 17, 2018 by Bill_S Jeff, MikeMaben, BradG and 5 others

kkarlsen
Great job! Allthough I'm not a fan of showing off in the threads of others, I think maybe you can benefit from my rebuild of the Revell Beaufighter... http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=60300&hl= MikeC, Shaka HI, Lothar and 7 others
