With the DH. 82C Tiger Moth following in November.

Sweet, it looks like the late production boxing is going to include the M35 20mm cannon.

Also, they are showing up on eBay from Ukrainian sellers.  Around $70-ish with shipping.

at least I THINK that is all the parts needed to a later version

Almost! I was comparing the parts for this kit vs. the 1/72 Special Hobby offerings (very nice as well!), and the only thing we're missing to do a true late model are the cannon for the nose turret, and the ammunition sponsons/mini gun for armament. These will, presumably and per ICM's usual style, come on a small errata sprue in the next release. And, hopefully some markings with a shark mouth!

Realistically, too, an AH-1S isn't too far away, either. Really looks to be an impressive kit, which I'm sure we'll see decals and aftermarket for shortly.

Looks like a good kit .It would probably wipe out the old Revell kit.but I noticed that the ICM kit has no viewable engine.Just the inner rotor link assembly case. Not normal for ICM.I have the kit and I will take the engine assembly from the Revell kit and w/advanced modifications install it in the ICM kit.

I have the kit.It will wipe out the old Revell kit.The only thing I noticed is that there is no viewable engine.Just the gear assembly box for the rotor linkage area to be viewed.Scratch build the turbine engine or take the Revell kit cobra engine. The rest of the kit great.I will make “VooDoo Lady” version.w/ super detail viewable engine.

ICM is working on a series of Viet Nam helo’s.

And you know this how?   Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a large scale Loach and UH-1H but I'm just curious how you know this.
