Rob Owens Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 But, just look at that misshapen nose, cowlings/nacelles, and those divot-rivets! Who in their right mind would ever shell out hard currency for such a monstrosity? PhilB, Royboy and TwoHands 1 2
Steve Eagle Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Oh Boy, I just pulled out the books I have that have pictures and information on this aircraft. There are a great variety of fitments on this plane, and choices of nose art. I will be looking forward to this release. I wonder if they will release it with both types of canopies.

You joke now, but I'll put money on just those types of comments showing up 30 seconds after the first sprue shot drops. Learstang, Out2gtcha, TwoHands and 1 other 4
Out2gtcha Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 I think sometimes its the nature of our beast. A lot of modelers are to some degree very particular because we know and love certain subjects, and when we see the likes of and heights of accuracy of, such things as Tamiyas F4Us, or Mossie, or most WnW kits, we know what can be achieved. Consciously or subconsciously we see things we sometimes cant un-see, and it can get in the way of building on occasion. Learstang, Vandy 1 VX 4, John1 and 4 others 7

Markjames1968 Posted July 31, 2019 Posted July 31, 2019 Might it be wise to wait until Trumpy says they are actually planning on releasing an invader before getting excited (or moaning)AFAIK they havent made any official announcements and for all we know, that prototype might be nothing to do with ‘us’...... Out2gtcha Posted July 31, 2019 Posted July 31, 2019 Well, they for sure have a 1/32nd Invader. Good point, as with a lot of things, for whatever reason, it may not get released into a mainstream kit. But there are at least two IM 1/32nd B-26s out there! Jan_G 1

And aren't Squadron and HB (Trumpeter) kind of in bed together too, IE the Lib and their resin wheel package deal?
