LSP_Kevin
So, this is apparently true, and all-new as well. So by the end of next year, we'll have 1/32 Lancaster kits from two different companies, which seems absolutely surreal to me. ssculptor
I'll believe it when I see it. How can I say that? I have been to hobby shows where sample kit boxes were on display yet the model never appeared on the market. Since their kit isn’t out yet, how many will pass, or at least wait until the WNW kit comes out before buying? Honestly, I don’t think there is enough of a market for two 1/32 Lancs for both kits to be moneymakers for their companies. WNW probably won’t take too much of a hit if it’s not a big seller, but I suspect HK will. phasephantomphixer

My opinion of WnW and Peter Jackson just dropped into a cesspool. What a low life move. Very childish. I'm sorry, what now? Who's to know that this was not in development before HK made their announcement? **edited to tone down wording, apologies as original reply came out sounding much harsher than intended - intention was more curiosity than anything else AdamR
Out2gtcha
This is craziness! Never in a 1,000,000,000 years would most anyone have guessed this. CANicoll, LSP_K2, Jan_G and 1 other 3
ziggyfoos
I can't imagine they just whipped this up out of the blue to rain on HK's parade. I imagine WNW was committed to it for a while knowing Jackson and the Dambusters. With this being 32044 then I guess that means the other version is probably 32043. I was actually hoping they were going to release three new WW1 kits.... kalashnikov-47 and MikeC
seiran01
I have contacted Dave @ WNW, he can confirm that over 8 years of research, design and tooling have gone into this model.... so far. Out2gtcha
This could be a real game changer. Will we see any other WWII subjects from Sir Peter? This could make the usual WnW guessing game of what's coming near TOTALLY impossible to guess. AdamR, Jan_G, LSP_K2 and 1 other
LSP_Kevin
I just want to interject here briefly and ask that we keep this discussion civil, please. This is a kit announcement, that is all. Sure, it might have a negative impact on the HK Models' release, but that's business. Kev Jan_G, LSP_K2, KiwiZac and 4 others 6
