Hello Fanch,

First off I want to say that I just found this WIP and I am absolutely amazed at your work. Your method for achieving the TPS scheme produces the most realistic results I've seen so far. The Salt Weathering and Black Basing techniques are good methods but in my opinion, not as good as liquid masking. I also appreciate the videos you've shared that show your techniques in action. I'll definitely be trying them soon I but know that I won't be able to achieve your results any time soon, or ever!

I'm looking forward to the completed model and hopefully an article.

Thank you so much for these kind words. Now you know how I did, so try, try, experiment, make this method yours, and you'll get results ! There's no reason nit to succeed.

Best regards.

hello

Long time no update !

Wing assemby is done and last hinges have been added. Some sort of struggle as flaps and slats had some bend on  my sample.

Lower launchers are now set and their rubber sealing lines have set along them, adding a bit of color. Note that the launchers had both a twist and a bend to cope with...I dont know if all trumpeter cats have these sort of problems ?

A dry assembly and the photo booth switched on to check the overall look

I hope you,ll like it

I'm going to need to confiscate your shrink ray.  This is the most incredible weathering I've ever seen on a build.  The TPS scheme seems to be one of the hardest to make look alive, but you've almost one upped reality with this work.  Can't wait to see the article published about it
