johnie hopper Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Finally I can say "Done". Not everything worked out as I imagined (wanted) - maybe next time . This S-92.2 was used as "flying laboratory" to verify flight parameters and performances in Czechoslovakian Aerospace research institute during 1947 (mostly flown by J. Maňák). CS-92.3 is on the table... And here's my insipration: Trak-Tor, Fanes, Nikola Topalov and 36 others 37 2
Uncarina Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 That looks very impressive! I also like the unusual scheme. Cheers, Tom Martinnfb 1
Kagemusha Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 Absolutely outstanding, great choice of subject.
chrish Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 very nicely done! I have a question...there's guns in the nose but covers over the gun barrels, did the covers come off before flight or, are the guns no longer used but in place to maintain balance?
johnie hopper Posted January 21, 2023 Author Posted January 21, 2023 There's no evidence that canons have been ever used during service of czechoslovakian S-92/CS-92 (Me-262 A-2/B-1). So probably they were used here (in my opinion) just to improve balance.
Dpgsbody55 Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 Very well done, and a nice choice of paint and markings too. Cheers, Michael
