Jan_G
as posted by Heinz on britmodeller after his visit in HPH https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235108459-132-sr-71-by-hph/ I hope it's not a 1st April joke, if not then wow! Rick Griewski
I am pretty sure that I do not need a SR-71 made in 1/32 scale. It will be cool for some people. CANicoll, firefly7 and LSP_K2

LSP_Kevin
I'm going with date-based humour here, but we'll see. Kev LSP_K2

The Revell 1:48 kit will be way more than OK with me. Rick Griewski
Juggernut
No, just no for at least two reasons that I can think of immediately. Like K2 said, the 1/48 Revell release will be more than OK with me too. Edited April 2, 2022 by Juggernut LSP_K2 and Rick Griewski
LSP_Ron
I am with Kevin, must me a date based joke of the day. The thing would be 3 feet 5 inches long. LSP_K2
adameliclem
No reason to think it’s a joke, HPH has been making noises about kitting an SR-71 for years. I will be very happy when the Hypersonic-Gaspatch 1/48th Blackbird comes out. It promises to be miles ahead of the very basic Revell offering. scvrobeson
I mean, this is a company that's released a 1/48 Concorde, B-52, XB-70, Do.X, and B-36 Peacemaker. Huge kits rerally mean nothing to them. Matt LSP_K2
BloorwestSiR
I remember they talked about doing a 1/32 B-58 so a similar scale SR-71 doesn't seem unreasonable. Carl scvrobeson and Zola25

GusM
They're doing a 1/32 Me-223 Gigant, so a SR-71 seems pretty feasible. scvrobeson

adameliclem
Hypersonic has been designing upgrades for the Revell kit, and their own project is in the tooling stage with Gaspatch. That’s from their FB account. I would love to have an accurate Blackbird in 1/32nd scale, but HPH kits aren’t my thing. Adam LSP_K2
305 swag
I’m still waiting on that 1/32 F-4B.
