I have been looking for a WNW LVG C.VI for a long time for the wife. She fell in love with it at a show here in CA (Valley Con) A few years back. So John here on LSP came trough on the LVG C. VI in a trade Thanks John.  Also wanted a Horten Ho229 V3 version for years. So drove down to Volks USA yesterday and picked up the Horten Ho-229. Unfortunately they were missing the Concept book and Photo etch set

I had one of these glass showcases but decided splurge and get two more. Got them last week. I got the tape measure out and it looks like the new WnW Felixstowe will fit on one shelf with a couple of centimeters to spare both width and depth.

Now Mancave B looks like this:

Hi Dan. got them from here:

http://www.metrodisplay.com.au/

They are the MSC-242 and are flat packed and take approx 3 hours and a few beers each to assemble. At $900 plus shipping each they aren't cheap, but a mans gotta have somewhere to put his creations hey?

Hi Dan,

I paid $188 extra for shipping to Brisbane. You may be able to get the cases cheaper if you mention that I sent you.... Maybe. The guy that lifted the boxes off the truck almost blew a valve. I did some fairly extensive research before I got the first one and I reckon they were the best trade off value for money/looks/size wise. There is ample room for 1/32 models as can be seen.

My 1:350 USS Hornet arrived today. I was disappoint to find in only included two B-25's, two Dauntless, and two Wild cats.  Not much to display on a three foot long deck...

I forgot about this thread completely, probably because I did not think I would be buying much in 2014 but there has been a bit of a resurgence of kit buying recently, so here are my new arrivals.

Early Christmas presents...

I'll be holding off on this one, still hoping for a floatplane GB...

Going through an old box, and I found this. It has to be at least 40 years old. The cap came off easily; a little thinner and a couple of BBs, and it came back to life!

The cap still has the price printed on it. US 19 cents. Those Pactra paints were the best I could find back in the day!

I too still have a half dozen or so Pactra paints, at least two brass, and some browns and greens. They work fine till this day, pretty amazing. I like that George too.

Received from a fellow forumite, this will be put to good use. I'm digging through my references right now for a scheme.

Probably won't make anyone jealous, but after three months in storage, I now finally have this back with me, where it belongs. I have all three Eduard sets for it, as well as some really cool figures too. I'm one happy pup!
