LSP_K2 Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 Some new books for reference. The Kaga book is petty awesome - cant wait for the upcoming 1/350 kit to add to the collection of WW2 IJN carriers. I've got the Kagero 3D books on the Richelieu and Bismarck, and they are both great. I'll have to add this one to my list as well, as I don't really have all that much on Japanese carriers.
joe Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Kagero is releasing another book on Kaga very soon but more inline with the AJ Press books on Akagi (which are great also). The quality on the renderings is pretty amazing so I hope they do more stuff on carriers.

I have some data on the Kaga, as well as the Akagi, Shokaku, Hiryu and Zuikaku, but not near as much as I'd like.
scvrobeson Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Yep, they're 1/12 resin kits. Nice! I like the old 156. Pretty car Matt
Out2gtcha Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Same principal as the cut needle head. It works very well, but to me the cut needle works better, because the needle has an open end to apply the glue.

dmthamade Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 (edited) Starfighter decals from Astra Decals. These sheets look GREAT!!! Should have enough to do 3 possible 4 using kit decals as well. Resin from Wingman Fixit, BL755 cluster bombs and SUU-30B/B. AMS BLU-27 Napalm cannisters. Planning on a few Luftwaffe F-104 and a couple of Canadian Zips.
