scvrobeson 3,477
Excellent look. The guns and feed chutes look absolutely spot on. Matt Pete Fleischmann
dodgem37 8,502
Never would have guessed that started out as black. That is some nice dry brushin'. Sincerely, Mark Pete Fleischmann, USMC Herc, Starfighter and 8 others 10
Stokey Pete 1,156
Those guns are pretty darned impressive Pete. I’m rather glad you mentioned the fit for the Academy kit. As I also have a pair of Live resin guns to put on my kit. I’d have probably just torn my hair out wondering why they didn’t match up, and chucked them against a wall. Glad I could help! going forward, I’ll use all of the live Resin parts except the external magazine boxes- those simply won’t work with the Kitty Hawk kit. I also modified the Live Resin mounts to fit the kit- I sliced off the horizontal cylinder portion of the kit mount that connects to the sponson, and grafted it onto the Live Resin mount. I’ll try to take a photo and show you- cheers Pete Stokey Pete and MARU5137 1

Pete Fleischmann 4,378
Hey all- ...been wiggling the gun and gunner..test fitting how this important part of the scene will shake out- I’ve got little blobs of Blue tack here and there while I maneuver the elements into something realistic- Im not there yet- you can see the challenge will be to get the gunners left hand holding the grip on the frame, and the cradle flush to the vertical mount...ugh. I’ll figure it out after a few more bad words.. cheers Pete Edited January 20 by Pete Fleischmann Rockie Yarwood, Out2gtcha, easixpedro and 19 others

jeroen_R90S 208
Awewsome work, I've read the whole thread in parts (way to much for one big read!), thanks for keeping such an extensive build log The gunner position on one of these seems like the equivalent of a WWI RAF FE2 pusher 2-seat fighter, albeit with more firepower at his hands! easixpedro 1,299
Pig, the Helo is superb. But it's the figures that take this to the next level. I can't imagine the pain it was/is to get that gunner to where he's holding on to TWO different locations, and it's looking spot on. Most of us struggle to get the danged landing gear straight and all touching, let alone a gunner leaning out of the window... Brilliant work and tanks for taking the time to document it all. Mr Matt Foley 76
Super job on the finish of the GAU-18. I'm going to try it it myself on my large scale aircraft and on my Armor subjects. Pete Fleischmann
