  1. Beautiful work love all the subtle details.
  2. Ooft my favourite jet of all time, stunningly represented. Very nice work. That idea of the base is absolutely inspired, cracking idea that!
  3. Really nice build and paintwork. I have a Phantom in my stash but seeing all the stencils on this has made me second guess doing it lol! Such a labour of love! Amazing.
  4. Gorgeous paintwork, you've really given the paint and surfaces depth and a proper sense of realism. Love you work!
  5. What an absolute stunner! Lovely work.
  6. How awful, very said news indeed. Thoughts of course to his family and friends. Terrible times
  7. Lovely video, as many have said it totally hits the mark on the why of what we do. Thank you for sharing.
  8. Oof, love me a twin tail. And Fulcrum's are pretty high up my list of those! Stunning work, lovely attention to detail!! Will have to pick one of these up, this is quite inspiring.
  9. MRP Flat clear is the dogs danglies, straight from the bottle... it settles out but chuck in some mixers balls and shake it to hell and once it's fully mixed it's just excellent. Thin Tamiya with the self levelling stuff from Mr Hobby as mentioned above.
  10. You should read the warnings on the thinners it's nasty stuff. Just wear a proper painting mask and use a ventilated booth. You'll be fine. You should see all the stickers they slap on Tamiya before we can even _GET IT_ in the UK.. The panel liners aren't even sold here, you have to import them and cross your fingers. Same with the Enamels.
  11. Indeed, this appears to be their first kit, hopefully of many if this quality is what they're going to continue to produce.
  12. It's genuinely an excellent kit from looking over it, rediculous amount of detail, I'll be buying any other kits they put out by default, put it that way. The Missiles are all single piece on sprue as well apart from some minor details. Can't wait to get stuck in to it, (and honestly a little terrified, the instructions are massive)
  13. no problem, can definitely highly recommend both. both have been great.
  14. I get my MRP stocks from Premium Hobbies or HM Hobbies both are very good and friendly retailers in the UK Premium Hobbies are about to get a new bigger place as well so things are looking up for Ed over there. If you're buying in bulk, probably use HM Hobbies as they give you a volume discount depending on how many you order.
  15. This arrived this morning. From a cursory look over the sprues it looks bloody incredible.
  16. Just stunning work, there's no other words for it.
  17. Nice work, she looks suitably used and abused.
  18. I would imagine the 'easy' way would be to drill all the rivet holes just enough that if you were to 'submerge' the part in the box of solder balls, then pull it out, they would self-find the holes.. then.. just.. wipe on some glue and hey presto, rivet holes filled... right?
  19. Can confirm I also have recently got back into trying miniature painting during Teams calls, if nothing else to stop me idling off with the keyboard because it's substantially noisier than painting.
  20. It's going to drive business to the bigger companies like thierry says. it's just not worth the extra hassle, or cost to go anywhere else It's very sad for the hobby because I cannot imagine it's doing anything good for our smaller independent retailers
