I expect the new variant is another obscure submark of the Pfeil push-me-pull-you.

However, I can dream it's an F.8 or T.7 Meteor (even though I have both of the exemplary Fisher sets)

Saving pennies for the Spey Toom.

Per Neil, they are developing a 1/32nd  F-4K/FG.1.  He said the same thing about the Lanc, so I trust they are still proceeding (and corroborated by Jennings) with the model in development.

Brian ... I know all about this release ... The statement was referring to NON LSP's ...

A Meteor F.8 would be a good variant to do.

Especially now that the Fisher conversion is no longer available, and likely never will be again.

I'd really like it if they released a WWII bird ... Stayed away from purchasing that kit until a viable conversion was in the mix.

Ah! Ok, got confused by the initial statement.

Early configuration B-17 G so we can all make Bit o’ Lace maybe?

no new tooling needed for that one, just some spruce mix and match.

Agree that an early G-model would be great. If the new kit is a "variant," I'd expect some new tooling. It'd be really sweet if they could improve the profile of the nose section, acknowledging that it would still be compromised dimensionally by the fat fuselage.

Bummer. I'd probably say they could have sold more of those than most anything they could have put out.

Assuming their effort actually looked like a P-51B.

They'd be smart to not waste any (more?) money on that subject since ZM has announced developing what is sure to be the ultimate P-51B kit. ;)

Agreed

if they want to make money that’s what they should churn out first

Yep, with individual pistons, rings, I hear it will have ammo belts with individual bullets.

(I heard that straight from the horses other end )   :o
