Lothar Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 (edited) Could this be an earlier version like a -B/C/D? Lothar Edited August 9, 2019 by Lothar Martinnfb and David66 2
Trak-Tor Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 It shows and says "GlassNose". I wouldn't be surprised if it represented a "Catch-22", or Joseph Heller's machine. And I'd like that too. Martinnfb and Jan_G 2

LSP_Kevin Posted August 9, 2019 Author Posted August 9, 2019 So apparently the B-25 shown is not the new kit we're waiting to be announced. I guess we'll find out what's happening one way or the other soon enough. Kev Martinnfb 1
ade rowlands Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Yep. Much clearer image there. Looking at the first one posted and I still see that Me210/410 nose. I’ve been wanting a glass nose B-25 for a while now and will try not to miss out this time. Martinnfb 1
seiran01 Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 The ETO B-25 photo is pretty large at their table - it’s not an early B-25 sorry guys, standard J model or similar glass nosed variant. Out2gtcha and Martinnfb 2

Radub Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 That artwork is a bare metal B-25 with a glazed nose. I have not talked to the people at the stand, I just passed by quickly. I am sharing the stand with SAM Publications and in as far as I understand from David Francis, the editor of SAMI, he was still waiting for an "official announcement" from HK and an image for publication. Artful69 Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Hang on ... If it's a B.25 glass nose - that doesn't count as a "new tool" does it ... re-tweaked, re-boxed or something but not New Tool. Feeling a little ripped-off here. Rog Martinnfb and Lothar 2

Rog As I said above, I don't believe the B-25 kit shown is the subject of the new announcement - though we still don't know what is. Kev Dennis7423, Out2gtcha and Martinnfb 3

Lothar no the dorsal turret is clearly forward, so it's not the early version shame, but i can understand why - it would need new fuselage halves which must be a ball ache Martinnfb 1
