Gisbod
Hi Guys, I’d like to build a decent quality 1/32 kit with a natural metal finish. I’m struggling to find something. I've built the Hobby Boss F-84 (which I think is a hidden gem) and (obviously) the Tamiya P-51. I’m looking at the Kitty Hawk Sabre Dog (mixed reviews?). Trumpeter have a few but I’ve tried a couple of the brand in the past and I just didn’t get on with them... So ideally, a Cold War Jet? But not exclusively. A decent quality kit that has potential! Any ideas much appreciated! Guy Harold

I’m just finishing off a 1/72 Eduard Mig 21... fabulous kit. I’d love a large one! Is the Trumpy Mig 21 good? I know they vary so much... Thanks for the replies, Guy The Mig-21 is one of the earlier Trumpeter kits, and it’s OK. Better than the old Revell kit, which is its only competition. Some say the spine is a cross between an MF and a -bis, but I never worried about that. If you are using the Eduard kit in 1/48 or 1/72 as a standard, I wouldn’t rate the Trumpeter kit as highly, especially as compared to the Eduard 1/48 kit. I did a review of the Trumpeter kit long ago. http://www.kitreview.com/reviews/mig21mfreviewcedw_1.htm

Gazzas
Italeri's F-104 A/C Starfighter is pretty good. Mine looks like this: Despite being Italeri... it's a really nice kit. Details are a little trench-like. But it goes together easily. Gaz SapperSix and Dragon
