I have given the model a wash using the Mig landing gear wash, then I masked and painted the black areas using Tamiya flat black mixed with red brown to create a "scale black". I added the exhausts by simply cutting the ends off the kit item and gluing them into the holes in the cowling, the large landing light under the wing was replicated by painting the inside chrome and adding a light bulb from a spot of grey paint, the kit supplied cover was chucked in favor of a punched out disk of acetate. The wing walks are heavily chipped according to my references sing the hairspray technique, in fact I could have gone further!! Anyhow I will let the photos do the talking from here.
