DavidJMason
Finally!!! I pitched the 1/32 Raptor to Trumpeter, Hong Kong Models, Kittyhawk, and Tamiya. They all said NO. Too big. Too risky. Only the USA has them. Won't sell internationally. It's not sexy enough. It's not combat proven. Etc, etc, etc. Of course it's only the best air-to-air fighter in existence right now (2022). I contacted them and offered to help. I hope they get it right. Violator1991, adameliclem, ScottsGT and 6 others 6

Out2gtcha
All true........... However, the Spitfire is one of the most graceful aircraft to ever take to the skies, but even she doesn't look like a dancing queen on the ground with her gear down. Its all about perspective. That being said, an in flight display with an F-22 would be REALLY nice looking. Uncarina, KiwiZac, Jack and 1 other
adameliclem
It’ll be a lot of fun to watch the sorcerers of paint take on the unique finish of the Raptor. It’s impressive how visually cryptic such a big thing can appear to be when it’s in the air, like a flock of bright birds that seems to disappear when it turns. KUROK
I'll take one...or two! I have the MotorMax toy F-22 which is 1/32 and it is BIG! The plans I had to work over the toy now are moot once I get this kit. Hope it doesn't cost too much.
Stokey Pete
Anybody know how to make convincing looking vapour streams? I took this shot at RIAT a few years back. adameliclem, KiwiZac, Out2gtcha and 7 others

Seems like doll/bear stuffing might be the way............I know this is for fire/smoke, but I think vapor would work a similar way since it is very much like white smoke https://spikeybits.com/2014/10/hobby-how-to-make-explosions-smoke.html KiwiZac and Stokey Pete

LSP_Ray
"On the deck" in this case means on the ground.
