KiwiZac
Hi all, Following the recent release of their 1/32 SPAD XIII c.1 (early) and the impending release of the (late) boxing, I've read on WW1AircraftModels that Roden is to release a Strutter mid-next year and an Avro 504 at the end of 2022 in the same scale. I feel this video accurately surmises my feelings on the latter subject. KiwiZac
I feel very silly - I saw this news at the WW1AircraftModels forum and did not attribute this scoop to them! I've just added that to my post. RLWP, scvrobeson, Dave Wilson and 1 other
vince14
From the link Zac posted... 'Vladimir says Roden is persevering with its re-launched WW1 line, despite sales of the Spad XIII Early falling short of their hopes. Roden re-launched its WW1 production line after a detailed Forum poll identified the wanted kits. The message here is clear folks- if we want Roden and the other manufacturers to deliver more plastic goodness we need to be supporting them as much as possible.' Never a true word spoken. If we want to continue to see 1/32 kits of interesting subjects from smaller producers, we need to open our wallets after we've told them what we want to build. Another apsect of this is to lay off the 'X manufacturers kits are unbuildable because they're not WNW/Tamiya quality' we often see posted. scvrobeson
Wonder if they'll do the strange clear plastic fuselage/wings for the 1/32 kit that Roden did for the 1/48 Strutter. Matt
