jimbo
Is this the type of a/c that James Garner and Donald Pleasance used in their part of “The Great Escape”? I’m no expert at all but I’d build one just to recall that, if so... Jimbo

Dpgsbody55
It would be nice to think that Eduard have been paying attention to this and similar forums. I wish them well with this and may well buy if it looks good. One I'd like to have a crack at, for sure. Cheers, Michael chrish

RadBaron
That's a no brainer! At least 2 for me, one civvy and one military scheme! Out2gtcha and chrish

I might go there too..............there are some seriously pretty Civi schemes out there. The choices are seemingly endless............ Or even this one...............technically still Civi, and no crooked crosses to deal with if one doesnt want to........ LSP_Ron
FYI, I learned from following the FOF one being restored that the civil ones only came in three colors. Cream, Lt gloss grey or dark blue. They said Willy Messerschmitt had two personal 108's one is know to be the cream with a black nose and stripe down the side. Gazzas
mozart
What’s the difference between a “Profi-pack” and a “Weekend edition” Eduard kit please? PS Liking the Hurricane in the background of one of your pics Brian, my Dad flew the original AG244 in S Rhodesia in 1944/45. This particular one is a Canadian Mk X which was restored and painted at Thruxton a few years ago. thierry laurent
The weekend edition is the basic kit (no resin, no photoetched set or a very basic one and a single decal scheme) whereas the Profi pack one has the bells and whistles... mozart, Rick Griewski, Gazzas and 1 other 2
thierry laurent
The great escape plane was indeed the Bucker. By the way this is a plane to build with the crazy Panzerfaust warload!

Gazzas
I have always wanted to do a 109 in foil. But, since there are no clear uses of the 109 in NMF during the war, I Think I'd like to do a 108 in foil with the control surfaces in aluminum dope. I'm sure I'll have plenty of time to figure out some colors to go with the NMF. Troy Molitor and Rick Griewski
LSP_Mike
I intend to do a 109 in NMF just to showcase the airframe. There are some nice schemes for the 108.
