MikeMaben Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Looks like Revell is re-releasing the Dragon kit ? http://www.ipmsdeutschland.de/FirstLook/Hersteller_News/Revell_News_2019_I.html RBrown, Jan_G and Southern Bandit 3
LSP_Kevin Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Looks like! And the ICM Bu 131, too. Kev RBrown and Jan_G 2
Artful69 Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 (edited) If that’s the case it makes sense. Their own effort predates the Stone Age and is uglier than a sows ear. Also these repops come out cheaper, yeah? ... looks like with a bit of advertising AIMS might have to amp up production! LSP_K2 Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Very interesting; it's a wonderful kit. Of interest to me is the re-release of the 1:72 S-100 torpedo boat. Mine is long gone and I'd really like to eventually get another. The Type VIIC/41 Platinum edition is very appealing too.
Rick Griewski Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 A bit of divergence I will admit... I really like torpedo boats and a re-release of the S-100 and with one of the crazy wonderful PE sets would save me (and my wife) from the much larger 1/200 Arizona kit. Rick LSP_K2 1
Rick Griewski Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 I need the 110 C-7 to round out the stash. This is good news. Rick Southern Bandit 1
ColinR Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 I wonder is the Platinum edition of the 48th B-1 might have Corrected engines?.. I built the original release of it a LONG time ago .. might be nice to try again!
Jan_G Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 I like the idea of cheap Dragon Bf-110 However I hope that Revell will come back on track soon with their own production of new kits in our scale jan Southern Bandit, Kagemusha, Alburymodeler and 1 other 4
Kagemusha Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Very interesting, thread drift, sorry, but seeing the Apollo 50th anniversary releases does make me wonder why we haven't seen a 1/32 LEM, it would make such a great model, with just a hint of historical significance. Rick Griewski, LSP_K2 and Southern Bandit 3
1to1scale Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Oh heck yeah, im buying this! ...Apollo 11 Spacecraft with Interior (50th Anniversary Moon Landing)! LSP_K2, Southern Bandit and Tony T 3

Rick The Revell S-100 was a pretty darned nice kit too and much more manageable (both size and price wise) than the 1:35 kit. Rick Griewski 1
AlanG Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Would love to get this kit. Could it be used to convert it to a G4 aircraft?

Need new nose, props, engines, rear canopy, and radar, at least. Significant amount of work to do it yourself, so best to just get the conversion. AlanG 1
chrish Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 It’s a good kit all right (the 110) i wonder if Revell will update the instructions? Southern Bandit and LSP_K2 2
ColinR Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 Quote i wonder if Revell will update the instructions? I do hope so, .. The Dragon ones are a Joke! mozart 1
