airscale
Peter, if you need some foam.... Thanks Tim - I have some alec tiranti stuff but this time have decided to go all old school with formers to give strength DO NOT overlook opening up those cooling intakes on the upper corners frame 3 Peter! I never succeeded in making them look great in 72 scale, but there should be room in 18 scale, HI Chek - no I won't forget - I am making those & the chin intake as part of the form & will modify them later when I have the shapes to hollow them out etc Are we doing cowls open this time? Ah no, no cowls open - it really would add another 6 months to the build as I know what I am like and would spend at least that on the engine TTFN Peter daHeld, Jeff, TorbenD and 1 other 3

Trak-Tor
Wow, magnificient! What's the material used for the PE? I see something like 0.2mm there.... And the progress on the fuselage is amazing. airscale
wunwinglow
Those vents are just the edge of the fairing lifted up! There isn't any ducting or anything, the air just rushes in across the top of the engine. I seem to remember they are to help cool the ignition coils which are mounted up there. We asked about them when we researched the PP Models kit.... airscale and daHeld

LSP_Ron
That's awesome, I agree with Kev, amazing how quickly this has gone from "what should I build" to a fuse frame and PE frets. airscale
