kkarlsen
Great job on this canopy frame (and just all the rest, by the way ). Like you, I cannot point out what makes the HK canopy feel "off", but the feeling is there all right. Maybe it is a combination of the width, height and slope of the sides I'd be interested to see a side-by-side comparison of your canopy with the Tasman vac on, and HK's one. Hubert Kent, stunning work... can we get a close up of the canopy work showing the structure and the added vac glazing? Thanks! Yes, please! I would like to see that too! Great work, Kent! Cheers Rainer Thank you gentlemen! Appreciate your comments... Some of you have requested information on the canopy conversion and i have tried to do a 'scientific' approach to this question... As mentioned before, I felt the canopy (and the nose cone, for that matter) to be slightly 'off' on the HK Models Mosquito, so what is it? Dont' get me wrong, the HK canopy is indeed very nicely done, but... 64mm... 68 mm 30-31 mm-ish' 34 mm... So, is it a problem? Well If the standard is to come as close as possible to the actual Mosquito canopy and get it to look authentic? To summize: This is a section of a scan of the mosquito scaled to 1/32 with some measurements... Brad-M
Bravo!! Very nice work indeed. I like all the engine work and also adding the electric cart to the Mosquito gives it a nice look. Can I ask where you got the cart from? Thanks for sharing Brad kkarlsen
Hubert Boillot
Thank you for the comparison of the canopies, Kent. I confess I had only a cursory glance at mine, but it is significant, more than I thought so. As for the final result, one word: beautful !
