Looking forward to seeing this ! Been to Brunty many many times before and love the way their Lightnings on full chat can destroy your innards very well. Never thought my lungs could produce Drum n Base sounds !

A highly creditable effort on the Martin-Baker machine, but sadly the seat is the least of the the Trumpeter Lightning's problems needing correction.

Thanks Check. Yes, I fully appreciate the aspects of the kit faults. Apart from the canopy shape and position issue, I should be able to correct most of the other more visible errors as I go along (I have already sectioned the fuselage and aft ventral fuel tank in preparation).

Derek, the seat is looking so good that it's immaterial if an aircraft ever gets built around it! I can see years of survival equipment handling coming to life in miniature - lovely to watch.

 

Are you going to pack a chute for the horseshoe pack? :)
