Chek Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 A highly creditable effort on the Martin-Baker machine, but sadly the seat is the least of the the Trumpeter Lightning's problems needing correction. Derek B 1

Thanks Check. Yes, I fully appreciate the aspects of the kit faults. Apart from the canopy shape and position issue, I should be able to correct most of the other more visible errors as I go along (I have already sectioned the fuselage and aft ventral fuel tank in preparation). Cheers Derek

tomprobert Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 Wow… this is micro-surgery of the highest order! That seat looks fantastic so far - I can’t wait to see it with some paint on. Tom Derek B 1
Madmax Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 Derek, the seat is looking so good that it's immaterial if an aircraft ever gets built around it! I can see years of survival equipment handling coming to life in miniature - lovely to watch. Are you going to pack a chute for the horseshoe pack? Sean Derek B 1
