Pete Fleischmann
About to start skinning the tail. this is the third one I’ve built, I think- fuel drain to install still; then I can start applying aluminum after sorting out the top panel Daywalker, Dragon, HerculesPA_2 and 15 others
Out2gtcha
Looks great Pete! Out of curiosity, are you using the same stuff Peter is using?

I use both .005 annealed and non-annealed aluminum sheet. I use the annealed for the wrinkly skin panels typical to the T-38, and the non for the tight skin (like on the horizontal slabs) cheers P Edited January 30 by Pete Fleischmann F`s are my favs, Derek B, HerculesPA_2 and 9 others 11

Just thee. and yes I invented some new combinations that I’m particularly proud of- getting the metal to form around that cone shape without breaking the resin underneath was a bear.
