  1. ..and no option for folded wings ?? MB
  2. Hello, Laminar Flow Design has made available their earlier-designed seamless intake for the 1/32 Tamiya Phantom. It's available either as a physical print or as a download. https://laminarflowdesign.com/gb/132-set/46-copy-of-dl-f4-phantom-seamless-intake.html I choose that option and a friend of mine printed it on one of his printers. There was an issue because the front edge is so thin the printer had troubles printing it correctly, but even then the part was still usable. It fits very nicely into the Tamiya intake part. There is not much left on the market to correct Tamiya's awful intake, so this is a very welcome addition. MarcB
  3. I saw the preview model at the Tracks and Wings shop last saturday, and it is really beautiful. Quite heavy, I hope the u/c legs will have some kind of reinforcement. The detail on the IP and console is particularly stunning. I heard the canopy will be resin cast..? MB
  4. Strange...by looking at the sprues pics and instructions it looks like both standard and bulged doors are included, as well as both needle and paddle bladed propellers... https://www.super-hobby.co.uk/products/De-Havilland-Mosquito-B-Mk.IV-Series-II.html HTH Marc
  5. Iain, You may be aware that One-Man-Model is now producing some of the detail parts (props, u/c legs, wheels) in better quality on his newer SLA printer. See my post on the 1/48 CP-140 thread https://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?/topic/96062-id-models-148-cp-140-aurora/&do=findComment&comment=1395336 Not sure if there are any for the 1/32 Andover, but maybe worth asking...? 6. Hello, Impressive work...I bought the same kit many years ago and attempted to build it but...ran out of mojo.. Years later another 3d-printed 1/48 P-3 appeared so I'm working on it now. You may be aware that the owner of One-Man-Models is now producing 3dprinted detail parts (uc legs, wheels, props,..) for his kit, using a more recent SLA printer. https://www.ebay.com/usr/onemanmodel I purchased a set for my kit, but have yet to receive these. 7. a little late to the party but I recently purchased this sander.. https://www.bosch-diy.com/gb/en/p/easycurvsander-12-06039c9003 I'm using it on my One-man-Model 1/48 P-3 Orion and it works great...three levels of grit (coarse-medium-fine) it speeds the process considerably, and without dust. The plates are 4 cm big, so you can use it on most of the surfaces of a kit. MB
  8. Also needed in 1/48 for the Hobby Boss kit..(windshield + canopy), specially for the two-seat TA-7/A-7K. MB
  9. I too would have been interested in this project, but the lack of transparencies for the canopies tempered my enthusiasm unfortunately. Marc B
  10. Hello, Unfortunately my experience is a little different. The model is very nice but is aimed at experienced modelers, because of the great number of very tiny little parts. It's what I call an "engineer's model"...beautifully designed...but it will request a lot of work to achieve a good result. The casting is very good, the decals too. The instructions could be clearer. Be sure to check that all parts are present ! Mine was missing about a dozen parts (they were sent by Mr.Bucci). Also the 3D-printed parts are so tiny and fragile most of these were damaged, because obviously the small plastic box they are in is too big, and during transport those little parts will be moved around in the box, damaging several parts. These were also replaced...but with the same results unfortunately. I think with two sets of those 3d parts I'll be able to complete my model...but I'll need a new Optivisor to be able to handle those microscopic parts ! Such a labour of love is to be applauded of course, but for the price I'd expect a better packaging for those kits sent by post. Marc
