Sadly Kotare are not making them, nor have the Chinese government announced the ‘non-Spitfire’ that Kotare will be making.

Frank Mitchell scratch built a 1/32 Blackburn Blackburn and posted his build to LSP in 2012, entitled 'The Infamous Blackburn Blackburn'.

 

That aircraft was the ugly duckling Danny Kaye never sang about. It did not become a swan, in fact in sea boots, Frank informed us, it was judged unsuitable as a seaplane.

 

Trolley busses were lots prettier.
