MH-60T Jayhawk water rescue

Recommended Posts

Thanks all-

my plan is to block sand the edges of the base nice and square, and then polish the snot out of them so that they are shiny and transparent. The base will get framed with stained wood trim on the bottom, with the polished exposed edges showing above (about an inch)

should work-

if that doesn’t work, I’ll clean up the edges and airbrush them to mimic what I just described.

cheers

Splendid job Pete. It looks like you're having a ball playing with these new, fun techniques.

You've captured the wet look on the pilot nicely and the pose looks spot on.

Very cool

Thanks Guy-

I truly respect your critical eye..you’ve always been honest with your feedback, and have been kind enough to let me know when I miss the mark, which I appreciate.
I have enjoyed this part of the project! I was an art major for about 2 years, and this does feel more like an art project than a modeling project- hopefully the whole thing comes together in a convincing way to tell a story.

cheers

Pete
