artoor_k
I have no idea if I'll move on with Sparrowhawk (too much flash cleaning) so I've dug out this one: I've got Master Model set consisting of gun and antenna. I'll see if this set is as bad as it's said Alain Gadbois, Scotsman, themongoose and 18 others
Dpgsbody55
Nice choice and very different to the usual here. Cheers, Michael artoor_k and chrish
Uncarina
Great topic! If you can get the Eduard cockpit set I’d highly recommend it. Kangnam/Academy has ejector pin marks on the instrument panel, so this will need a little work. It’s buildable however; I built the Kangnam kit years ago. Uncarina
I’ve looked for years myself without result. I’m experimenting with making my own instrument panel for the Academy kit when I get around to building it using a Silhouette Portrait cutter. In any case, model on! artoor_k
Four big ejector marks per seat. Fight them with Surfacer 500. BradG, LSP_Kevin, Daniel Leduc and 6 others 8
themongoose
Oh man what a horrible place to put ejector pins! Looks pretty good now tho
Out2gtcha
Very cool! If you are so inclined, looks like there may be a good solution for a super realistic IP, as well as it having to work the sinkarks in the OOB IP. https://rfstudio.hu/termek/

The RFS set is likely too big and may not be able to be cut down to fit without cutting into some of the detail. Uncarina and Out2gtcha

artoor_k
I would definitely use them if it was 1/32 Anyway, sink marks problem was sorted out. Confusionreigns178
I'm sure I'm not the only person on this site who'd love to see a really accurate Apache in either 1/32nd or 1/35th (or both!). For such a successful airframe, there really is a poor supply of decent kits in the "one, true scale" (sits back and waits for the screams of condemnation...) ICM, are you listening? Chris. Out2gtcha
The cockpit looks awesome! I agree,I'd be ALL OVER a new tool 32nd Apache, especially if it was a long bow. I'm working on their 32nd Cobra now and it's a great little kit, so the Apache seems a natural fit for ICM. Uncarina

artoor_k
+1 for new Apache! 1/18 would be best but not from Hobby Boss Not only AH-64, there is RAH-66, AH-56, Mi-28, Ka-50, Ka-52 and of course Airwolf and Blue Thunder Progress from today...Small detail but in styrene looked awful. I've used wire net after removing plastic. Edited October 17, 2021 by artoor_k BradG, themongoose, Greg W and 4 others
