Iain
Don't nag Stormer! I have a screen full of aerofoil sections just now - and they're not Spitfire ones... Thank you one and all for kind words on the Spitfire - really appreciated. Iain
monthebiff
Absolutely wonderful Iian, those canopies look so good and your work has really paid off. Regards. Andy Iain
chuck540z3
Very nice job Iain and I really like the clean look. Your cowlings fit better than most builds of this kit (including mine), so you must have done something extra good up front. Cheers, Chuck Iain
Iain
Hiya Chuck, I cheated a little on the cowlings... The lower cowl section is bonded in place - so has provided a solid 'keel' that I could adjust whilst drying to ensure the other cowling panels fitted properly. Seems to have worked! red Dog
Outstanding model and build technique. I just went through the 27 pages of your WIP and I thank you for that. I learned a few things along your WIP which will be put to good use as I am currently working on a restored MKXVI in 1/32.
MustangManiac
Awesome build Iain! Now I need to try and build one myself. This and the PR versions are my favorite versions of the Spitfire. Cheers, Brady
Palm-tree
Lovely job , just beautiful to look at. Judging by the number of views and the number of two-seaters now regularly seen in the south of England-, Biggin, Boultbee, etc, there must be a case for some sort of kit of this version now?
