Out2gtcha
Thanks guys.......... A tiny bit more done that doesnt require power bits. I got the O2 hoses done using guitar string, and lead wire for the coms cords: Then I took a moment to assemble the engine and its bulkheads, as well as the battery holder and its bulkheads along with the cockpit: Finally, I took out the base and clear support rod, and got the boys and idea of what angle they will be poised at.................much MUCH taller than what the final product will be, but at least an idea of what things will look like before the clear rod is cut off: Its going to be a tall display even after I cut the clear rod! All for now ladies! Ive got to get the new replacement electronic board so I can sort out the power bits and where everything will reside before going any further. johncrow, Trak-Tor, Gazzas and 12 others

aircommando130
Will look almost like the NF-104A on a "stick" in front of the USAF Test Pilot School at Edwards now. Out2gtcha

Out2gtcha
Thanks guys! This one has a lot of new firsts for me including my first in-flight display, which I promptly made harder by deciding it would be all self contained inside the model, as well as my first lighting job. The lights are still a source of trepidation, since I still have yet to figure out how it will all work as of yet. I'm hoping to get the new board in a week or less, so I can push on with getting some assembly done.

Last night I finally received my replacement circuit board for the lighting setup..................and hopefully (barring any wife or daughter interruptions) I'm hoping to complete my second and final full lighting test with the new board and the 9v battery setup. NOW I can actually get moving on this build! Lothar

Will be a tight fit me thinks! HerculesPA_2 and MikeMaben
