A big thank you gentlemen but you will make me blush !

After a few hours. I took the opportunity to mould the fasteners and the base of the masts.

A friend lent me a propeller blade to make the master. It’s not easy to find a propeller of this size turning left.

it’s already less empty.

Be well !!!!!

So, we keep moving forward :

Propeller Blade and Hub Casting.

The small screws (0,7 mm hex) come from T2M.

The propeller hub and the rear support of the oil radiator are completed.

Tailpipes. The long tube will be molded and then modified to have the right and left.

The tubes are bent under very hot water.

Checking is essential to see if the tubes pass well between the masts of the float and if the propeller does not chop the float !

For now it’s good !

Have you seen this publication? If it doesn't include scale drawings of the catapult I'm positive Kagero have some.

Baffo,

Associazione Navimodellisti Bolognesi sells scans of the original blueprints of the Gagnotto catapult, the standard equipment for the Littorio battleship class.

Hope it helps.

Keep on your awesome work!

Stefano
