baffozac
Good morning to all I molded the 6 hatches, before pouring the resin, I inserted L shaped wires, so it's thin and solid. And now, the engine, a Piaggio PX R. The first thing you see is the oil radiator. I tried different materials A: Evergreen striped card, easy to stick but still oval, too thick and grooves too deep and spaced. B: thinner card, hand streaked, still oval..... C: copper wire, remains round but too heavy for supports (0,5 mm rods) D: the winner, 0,3 mm alu litho plate. baffozac
Hello, This is a Ro37 but the engine is the same, this one lost his radiator. Some parts for the engine: cylinder come from the Fiat A.74 I made for my Macchi 200, with little modifications. Spark plugs and starter nozzles came also from my Macchi spare boxe. The rear bulkhead with its fairings for cooling attached to the cylinders by the little T. Right now, it’s pretty empty But silicone and resin will solve this.
